INSTALLATION

Ed’s Concrete Products will install your step purchase if you live within our installation area. We will need access for our delivery truck and a level base.

CARE OF STEPS

Salt and chemicals are harmful to any concrete surface and should not be used for removal of ice or snow. Use of any such product will mar the marble-like surface of your steps and void your warranty. Sealer should be applied annually to preserve the colour of natural stone finished steps.

WE KNOW CONCRETE

Colour and texture of concrete may vary. Why is that? Concrete is made from earth and water, both natural ingredients which react differently depending on air temperature, humidity. With over 40 years of experience in the precise concrete industry we like to think these natural variations create individual character.

ED’S Concrete does not recommend the use of de-icing salt or chemicals on their precast, especially in the 1st year. This may mar the surface of the step and will void the warranty.  If de-icers must be used, we recommend that they be applied only long enough to melt the ice and then removed from the surface.
